Happy 4th & Fireworks!!

I went to see Macy's fireworks at the south seaport with Ava. It was great but we waited for a long time and the way back home also took us an hour or so. It started pouring at the middle of the firework and we couldn't take out our umbrella since there were lots of people standing behind us watching the firework. So we got half soaked at the end and we followed people slowly moving towards the nearest subway station and we needed to transfer twice to get back to Union Square. We both got really tired and went bed really late that night. And we both agreed that next year we probably wouldn't watch it though the fireworks were very beautiful. It's simply because we don't want to spend that amount of time on the way.
